I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted, but last month was a little crazy! During that month, I decided to use a few of my gift cards that I received for my birthday and Christmas. I was feeling a little down one Saturday and decided retail therapy was the only way to change my mood around. I was right, it worked. It always does and below you can find a few of the things I picked up.
My first stop was Express. I love Express and I’m pretty sure Express loves me too. I’m always there and they always send me these amazing coupons plus since I racked up a bunch of points for being an A-List member, I received a nice little gift card. I decided to take these pieces home with me and put them to good use!
I’m saving the Kiss Me shirt for St. Patrick’s Day and the dress for a special night, but the two shirts in the middle have already been out on the town. I used the light blue shirt for a night out with my girls and covered it with a cute animal print scarf. I used the hot pink shirt with a black blazer and scarf for a busy Sunday with my family.
Like most girls, jewelry is a must! I love bracelets and I usually wear a ton all at once. I had a Nordstrom gift card and a Macy’s gift card that needed swiping so I used both to add to my jewelry collection. When it comes to jewelry, I usually take the pile it on approach. After all, I started playing dress up at a young age and never stopped.
The first two pieces are from Nordstrom. The bow necklace is from Bonnie Jonas and the “AMOR” bracelet is from BCBG. Lastly, I fell in love with this amazing Onyx gold and sterling silver square ring at Macy’s. I haven’t take it off since it came home with me and I really think it is one of the best rings I have.
Lastly, I didn’t have a gift card for these two items but I couldn’t resist. I’ve been looking for a ring/bracelet for a long time now and when I stopped by Aldo’s Accessories, it was love at first sight. I also decided on the cute cross earrings.
My day at the mall was definitely a mood changer. I’m always one to save my gift cards for a rainy day.
